The Mentor Senior Center is a thriving meeting place for senior citizens of all ages and has more than 5,000 members. Full use of the facility is available to anyone age 55 and older.
This vibrant 22,000 square foot facility features a library, billiards room, computer room, fitness center with aerobic and strength training equipment, fitness studio offering a variety of fitness classes, arts and crafts room, health services room, meeting rooms, kitchen, main hall with stage, and an inviting lobby and reception area with double-face fireplace.
Whether you’re using the fitness equipment, learning to use a computer or enjoying a delicious home-cooked lunch with friends for the afternoon, drop in and enjoy all the senior center has to offer.

The Senior Center is open from 8 AM to 8 PM Mondays and Wednesdays and open from 8 AM to 5 PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Daily Made From Scratch Lunch is available weekdays, 11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Stop by for the best deal in town! Mentor Senior Center’s talented kitchen staff and volunteers prepare delicious, freshly made entrees, sandwiches, salads, soup, and desserts at reasonable prices. The Daily Special costs $5. Daily homemade soup and sandwiches also available.
For the safe enjoyment of all members, please do a self-assessment of your current health, and if you feel ill or have any covid symptoms, please stay at home. Please note that the Munson Road entrance is now the sole entrance/exit to the Center. All members will be asked to scan in so please remember your membership card.
The Senior Center follows the City of Mentor holiday schedule and is closed on New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
